Thanks! Getting a bit annoyed now. Not by the wait itself - I was expecting that - but by the uncommunicative nature of my dealer. They've ignored my last two e-mails politely asking for an update. I've sent a grand total of four e-mails since I ordered on 1st October - about one a month. Not too much to ask for a £2,500 order I don't think. This is literally the most expensive thing I've ever bought. I know they probably sell to the Kanye's of the world who probably buy five at a time but this is a very significant investment for me, and not one I'm ever likely to make in a piece of gear again. Would be nice if music shops remembered that.

Ho hum.

------------------

EDIT: Literally as I was writing post that I got an e-mail direct from the UK dealer (who Moog themselves suggested I contacted after an innocent twitter comment to them). They've advised they're expecting it on 23/1. There is still hope!

Just an update for people following my saga.... no sign of my Voyager and no reply from distro or the shop I bought from. Guessing some of them are at NAMM. Hope my Select hasn't been held up by all the kerfuffle around the Sub Phatty. If so maybe moog should throw me in a free one. :)

It arrived! Wouldn’t have been right if there hadn’t been one last hurdle... so FedEx chose to deliver it on the wrong day when I was away from home for two days. Left it with a neighbour who I’d never met and gave me no way of knowing where it was... but anyway blah blah blah it’s here now and it’s a beaut.

Only been able to flick through the presets so far, but omg the sound. I’ve definitely made a wise choice. Just need to finish paying for it now :)

Sorry, don't mean to bump an old thread, but I'm kind of excited… I ordered a maple and jade on February 28. Got word it should be shipping the week of April 14.

In anticipation, I've picked up a CP-251, VX-351, an MF-104M, and assorted patch cables. Just waiting patiently now…

I first saw the Minimoog D at a piano and organ store in 1973, when I was taking organ lessons. As a kid, they wouldn't let me touch it (since I obviously didn't have the $1395), nor would they even turn it on and let me listen. :P

Anyway, over the years I've always wanted a Moog. I saw the Select Series and was going to buy myself a Christmas present, but hesitated. Kept checking, and then saw they were almost gone. Ordered mine and waiting patiently for it to arrive. Sheesh, I waited 40 years, what's another month or so…? HaHa!

Hi all,

Ordered my Moog Voyager Select Maple Electric Blue from Sweetwater last week! I’m pretty sure it was one of the last one’s left as they are no longer listed on their site. I’m on the same April 14th estimated ship date. Do these models have the 10 year anniversary badge on them? I own other Moog products but this will be my first Synth.

Looking fwd to joining this epic club!!

There are 10th anniversary stickers on (I believe) either side of the top portion of the side wood. (I say "I believe" because where mine is sitting I can't see the other side without digging around) Also, if you're getting it from Sweetwater, next to the serial number sticker is a sticker that says "SWEETWATER Minimoog Voyager __ OF 24 <<WOOD TYPE>>" In my case "17 OF 24 MAHOGANY". I have photos but the forum is saying that the board is over it's attachment allocation.
