Problem with MINI MOOG VOYAGER EDITOR 3.7.0 Sound Tower

I have a serious problem with the new version MINI MOOG VOYAGER EDITOR 3.7.0 Sound
Tower. In classic surface edit view all works well...

BUT expert surface - drop-down menu does not work - it is inactive , can not save the
sound in bank example - of course we can do it by trick - enter to the inactive menu and
click right mouse button - then menu becomes active (lol it gets dark :) ), and then choose
example "write" and we have to choose from a list of banks and presets list - where we
want to save.

Of course, the mouse can not select anything - it works only with the keyboard
(arrows+return) and can save that way sound only in current bank.

Does anyone have a similar problem?

The last well-functioning version is 3.6.0.
As a paid software is too many bugs (so far)

greetings
Unique

I guess I better not upgrade ~ mine is 3.6.3 (I think)
On the Macintosh and seems to be working OK
Just using it again today ~ now that my Voyager is back from repairs

Forget about ever getting a response from sound tower. Those guys are BRUTAL. It's pretty common to get no response from them. A ST guy posted a few times here in the forum and when people brought up the communication issue he said they don't have time to follow up forum posts all over the net but DO respond to emails. The moog forum is certainly not some random forum and IS deserving of checking in at least monthly.. but the fact remains, they really don't seem to care about their customers and you're lucky to ever get an email response.

It's disappointing that after buying a $3k synth and then having to spend $80 on the software we end up with such poor support. It doesn't reflect well on moog. They're selling some serious gear these days. Something needs to be done about sound tower.

and FFS, why are we having to pay for the software? Why do you get free software with a $600 minitaur but not with a $3k+ Voyager? At the very LEAST anyone who spent $80 on the software should get the librarian AND the plugin. Spending $160 for both is insulting.

Grrrrrrrr. Not much for accountability or customer appreciation there at all.

I agree with everyone - we pay a lot for equipment but a software which has a lot of errors and each new version is as unfinished as the previous one.

(BTW the VST plug-in editors completely do not want to work because it is a conflict midi although my midi interface (http://www.esi-audio.com/products/m8uxl/) also has a multi-client because I work in a DAW and in the stand-alone editor in the same time).

You have to somehow deal with the software soundtower, I wonder if the MAC version is also bugged. Fortunately, the keyboard works in editor ;) (it's a shame to write such things in 2012 about LEGAL software)

i also feel moog should make the editor available for their product the voyager ( and t3 ) just like with the other moog equipment.
that would be consequent and make a lot of old/all time moog fans and users ( and buyers) a lot happier then having to deal with TFMTO
(the firm mentioned too often )
