how restore all factory patches to bank A-G?

Post by xlarge01 » Sun Jan 29, 2012 4:35 pm

hey guys,
i´d like to restore all 3.5 default factory sounds to banks A-G

but
- all I can restore via the copyright/factory reset menu are the 128 preset sounds from bank E "I´m baa-ck!!"
- I don´t have the Editor Software
- is there an online resource where I can load the patches down ?

thnx very much!

Become a member of the yahoo group "knobtweak" and the patches are there. You will need Midiox or some other program to pass sysex to the Voyager.

Push "Menu" button
Scroll to "Copyright Info" option.
Push "Enter" button
Push "+1" button
Scroll to "Factory Sounds"
Push "Enter" button
Choose "Yes" option
Voila!

Hope this helps! :D

Why should it be a bug when you can get the 128 factory presets from the flash ROM?
If you want to reload the presets for all banks you need a computer with a MIDI interface.
If you have a PC download the MIDIOX program from here: http://www.midiox.com/

I can send you all banks in a private mail.

All of the factory banks are available on KnobTweak. You can find them here:

Files > Voyager > Voyager Patches - Factory

If you want to know what goes into each bank (assuming you are looking to restore the patches to their original locations), take a look at the preset list compilation, which is located with the factory patches:

2010 Vger Preset List.zip (it's a two-page PDF)

Also, if you are using a Mac, the presets can be downloaded using the SysEx Librarian app:

http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/

Hope this helps

Hi Rudi -

I just received your request and approved it. Wasn't aware that you had tried before and were not successful.

Of course, I assume you have no problem restoring patches on your Voyager...

Cheers from the states!

Hi,

I just have the same problem. Want to restore bank G. How long does it approx. take before one gets an approval for the KnobTweak group?
I joined two days ago via my Google account.

Kind Regards,

Actually, it's been less than 24 hours (your request hit my inbox about 11AM yesterday), and yes, it was approved.

Hello Greg, yes sorry about that. I didn't know I had to hit the join button twice. The first time I went through a lot of screens and thought it was done. Thanks for approving :D
