In the download section there is a version for Voyagers (even x64) last updated in November 2010. I noodled with it for 5 minutes this morning but couldn't get it to do much. Anyone else had any success?
I plan to give it a better try after work because I really can't justify $80 for the Soundtower software as I only want a way to backup and organize my presets.
Also after trying the crippled demo of the Soundtower program I'm not convinced it's worth it.
I think this "ctrlr" thing might be our best bet for a free alternative...unless anyone has any other suggestions.

(Topic necromancy, I know, but that´s what happens when you do a forum search, as I figure a good community member should do before asking.)

The page is updated fairly recently, March 20 2019.

Anybody having experience with this editor? Is it legit/no scam?

I have no good vibes from Soundtower from the past due to non existing costumer support. It felt like they were only interested of my credit card, not of me as costumer - wasted money.

You can use free sysex programs such SysEx Liberian, make your own folders and organize your sounds there. To use software as editor for a such instrument as the Voyager is to me whatsoever unintelligible.

I think the ctrlr link was supposed to work inside your DAW, so you can send program changes & control it "live" with a GUI

I guess you could send MIDI program changes by setting up a MIDI track as well. but not as convenient?

CTRLR works both standalone and as a vst. However, it’s an editor and not librarian.

Midi Quest 12 from Sound Quest supports several Moog models including:

• Minitaur;
• Sub 37 Tribute;
• Sub 37;
• Sub Phatty;
• Subsequent 37 CV;
• Subsequent 37;
• Voyager RME; and
• Voyager.

Plus a few hundred other synthesizers! Worth every penny. It's an excellent editor and librarian.

Just for clarification, does that mean that it requires Google Chrome or can one use Edge, for example? Thanks

You need a browser that support WEB MIDI API.
That currently is Chrome and all related browsers like Chromium and also Opera. Edge might work too, but is not tested.
