Subharmonicon noisy VCA

Post by pmumble » Sat May 20, 2023 5:52 pm

Just wondering if anyone else has an extremely noisy VCA when trying to modulate with fast CV signals? By itself with nothing plugged into the VCA it sounds fine, but I recently got some modules that can provide quick exponential envelopes and there is a lot of noise at the peak every time I modulate the VCA.

Actually I'm noticing that this doesn't happen when I route the mother32 LFO to the VCA, but when I use Pamela's Pro Workout there is some sort of chirping aliasing noise or something, even when I try to model a very similar LFO. Pam's is 0-5v and the Subharmonicon is +/-5v, though. I've tried using a mixer to change the signal and I'm still hearing it.

Nevermind. This is something to do with Pam's specifically. I can't reproduce this when modulating from only Moog sources.
