Noise Delay Cuircuit

Post by lrt75914 » Mon Dec 05, 2022 8:43 pm

Hello Everybody,

Since I have my Matriarch hooked up to an Axe FX I never realized how
noise the delay cuircuit of the Matriarch is. I don't know if that's an
issue with my unit or just the nature of the design.

I was wondering if anyone could confirm that this is indeed normal
or a faulty module. Delay Mix is on max to highlight the issue.
The noise itself, however, is noticable as soo as you crank the mix
up to 9 o'clock.

Cheers,

Patrick

That sounds about right. The analogue delay circuit is a bit noisy. It is most noticeable if you you have the cutoff frequency turned down and the delay mix set high.
