Matriarch MIDI challenged

Post by Frank04090 » Thu Jan 20, 2022 8:49 pm

I have this marginal quality midi controller. It's a guitar with buttons on the fretboard, and six short length strings in the picking area. It was made for the Rockband games on XBOX, but also has a MIDI socket. I can plug it into a cheapo m-audio keyboard, or a computer and it works fine on all six strings, but if I plug it into the Matriarch, I can only get the first string to work. Is there some setting I am overlooking?

It does this on the Grandmother as well. I figured that was because it is a monosynth, but since it does it on the Matriarch as well, I'm wondering if I'm just stupid.

Thanks for any help.

Appears I need to change either the controller, or the Matriarch to OMNI. I'll have to go in and see if I can enable OMNI on the Matriarch because the manual sort of makes it unclear if I can turn OMNI/Poly on or not.

Are you in paraphonic mode?
