I started semi-modular a year ago with a Mother 32, recently joined by a Subharmonicon.
Fine team! But I have problems (understanding, I think) of synchro between the two.
When one sends the clock to the other, the second one goes too fast (or too slowly) compared to the first one. In short, it does not stick (even if on SubH, as Rythm 1-4 divide the clock, if it is, or seems, too fast, i manage).
In the Set Up Mode of the Mother there are several options (which I don’t really understand) :
- page 3: tempo input jack mode (what choice / Subharmonicon?)
- page 4: clock input PPQN (? + same question)
- page 5: clock output PPQN (? + same question)
- and also, page 8 / parameter 5: Tempo input Range (what choice / Subharmonicon)
I put (or i tried: I’m not sure how to access settings 9 through 16 on pages 4 and 5) all according to the Setup Mode Global Defaults on page 12, without the expected result.
So, a lot of questions.
But already, what importance and especially influence (if they have one) have the settings of "PPQN" in relation to sending or receiving clock?
