mother-32: sequencer behaviour concerning patterns across different banks

Post by loewe242 » Mon Sep 13, 2021 2:53 pm

Hi there,

I am pretty new to mother-32. Hope You can help me to better understand this lovely piece of a synth :)

If I save a new sequence say to pattern 1 in bank 1 it is saved to pattern 1 in bank 2 as well. And vice versa if I initialise pattern 1 in bank 1, pattern 1 saved in bank 2 is initialised as well...

How can I prevent that to happen?

I am sure that this behavior is not intentional, because it reduces the number of memory locations to 8...

thank you in advance for your support!

regards
Alex

PROBLEM SOLVED

The sequencer doesn't "realize" the change of active bank until active pattern is changed...

This is nevertheless a strange behavior

Alex
