Matriarch: Using the Expression Pedal as a Volume Pedal?

On the Matriarch, is there any way to patch the EXP CV Out into something to make the expression pedal work as a volume pedal? I tried going into VCA 1 CV IN and it has a minor change. I'm looking to be able to bring the volume from 0 to 10 with the pedal.

I use the Exp Pedal Output CV into BOTH VCA 1 & 2 inputs and it works great. I have a CV "knuckle" but you might also use the onboard MULT.

I just tried that and it just makes everything silent. Aren't VCA 1 & 2 audio signal inputs?

VCA CV IN 1 & 2 do have some affect but it doesn't take it to 0. Maybe its the pedal? I'm using a Roland EV-5 that has a TRS plug. I've played with the knob on the side that controls the minimum level and even at 0 on the knob its not completely quite.

I'm using Moog's EP-3 pedal which is TRS with switchable polarity.

I figured it out! This video about keyboard velocity gave me the idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRy__Xwgcqw

EX CV OUT > Attenuator CV IN
Mixer OUTPUT > Attenuator Input
Attenuator Output > Mult
Mult > VCF 1 IN & VCF 2 IN
