When synced to an external midi clock, I found the rate / div knob a little unpredictable, but today I figured I would master the knob once and for all. I don't think it quite maps to half hour divisions, but it's close enough. I've mapped it here as positions o'clock. I assume this is how most people think about the knobs I have also marked the received midi setting in []. I noted that it isn't actually calibrated to the 128 steps, as for example sometimes I could turn it and transmit 65 and get a dotted quarter note, and sometimes with 65 I'd have a quarter note.
8.00 [0] - 4 whole notes
8.30 [10] - 3 whole notes
9.00 [17] - 2 whole notes
9.30 [25] - Dotted whole note
10.00 [33] - Whole note
10.30 [41] - Dotted half note
11.00 [49] - Half note
12.00 [57] - Dotted quarter note*
12.30 [65] - Quarter note
1.00 [74] - Dotted eighth note
1.30 [82] - Eighth note
2.00 [89] - Dotted sixteenth note
2.30 [97] - Sixteenth note
3.00 [105] - Dotted 32nd note
3.30 [113] - 32nd note
4.00 [121] - Dotted 64th note
* as mentioned above, it doesn't quite map to half hour divisions, which is why we end up without a different setting for 11.30
N.B. the time marked above is (roughly) where the range starts, so set to slightly after the time than slightly before to ensure you are listening to the exact setting
