Matriarch-Delay Sounds Muffled/Different From Original Sound

The delayed sounds on my Matriarch are far different from the original sounds. This occurs in either bright or dark mode. The sound is quiet, with not much high end and a bit "muffled." Not like any other delay I use where the repeated sound is very similar to the original. Is this a feature, a bug, or an issue with my unit? Anyone else have this issue?

Are they analog or digital delays?

Moog would seem to be more likely to implement an analog delay, which will not have the bandwidth of a digital delay (at similar costs). So, it should sound more muffled and lacking the highs. I think you got what you paid for - an excellent synth :0)

Well, IDK. It's analog of course but its way more muffled than say other moog delays or a tape echo. Curious of the experience of others.

Interesting. Well, it should sound muffled compared to the original; BBD's don't have the bandwidth at normal clock rates. It shouldn't be too muffled though. What's the cutoff frequency it's getting rolloff at? White noise through the BBD to a audio spectrum analyzer will give a good answer.
