Just a quick question
Why are so many of us having problems with sync issues to a daw?
I wonder if moog tried the subharmonicon with different daws before they started shipping them?
I am so frustrated with my subharmonicon, I love the sound but thinking of selling it because of my sync issues with ableton.
Tried midi, clock and USB midi but it still not keeping tempo for long.
For such a expensive thing I would expect it to be better. My first problem with using hardware with ableton.
Subharmonicon sync issues?
Re: Subharmonicon sync issues?
Hi,
I'm using my Keystep Pro clock out to sync the SBH with other hardware devices or a DAW. Works perfect for me and for sure a lot better then midi clock. On the KSP you can select different divisions. You can also use gates from the KSP (or any other device that sends gates or triggers) to send to the SBH and use those as a clock signal. Have you tried CV Tools to send a clock from Ableton to your SBH? That might also work. Hope that helps: Subharmonicon is a fantastic instrument!
