Hi all,
I have a couple of mono guitar effects pedals that I’d like to insert before the reverb in the GM and/or the stereo delay in the Matriarch. I’m assuming it’s entirely possible to insert effects in multiple ways before the built in effects in the mixer but I’m struggling with the right patching combination.
For the Matriarch, as an example, I have a mono pedal that outputs a wide stereo pair. If I take the Wave Out of each of the 4 oscillators and patch to the Osc ins on the mixer, how do I separate the oscillators to 2 left and 2 right in the chain and insert them before the stereo delay and before they leave the stereo outputs? I’d appreciate a few pointers on how to do this if that’s okay. Where does the stereo split to the oscillators occur?
I am assuming I can set up the mixer as a send and return to mix in the amount of effect. I’m guessing that’s possible on the Matriarch but less of an option on the GM due to the lack of spare attenuverters on the mixer. Any thoughts, help and advice on this would save me a huge headache so I can get recording again!
Cheers
inserting effects into the chain Matriarch & Grandmother?

I also have this question (I've made an enquiry to Moog to try and get the info but heard nothing so far).

Re: inserting effects into the chain Matriarch & Grandmother?
The outputs such as WAVE OUT on your Matriarch and Grandmother are eurorack signals which are a different voltage (https://www.perfectcircuit.com/signal/e ... line-level) than the instrument level guitar pedal is expecting and so it won't work well.
That's why the Matriarch has separate Euro OUT and Main OUT on the back of it. I've experimented it with this myself and it doesn't work. You'd have to get a signal converter module like this one (https://4mscompany.com/listenio.php).
