Matriarch will not record notes into Cubase.

Hey Everyone,

I've had some trouble finding an answer on the forum so far so I thought I'd reach out. I have my matriarch running into a Mio XL which is connected to my UA Apollo 8x, which is connected to Cubase. The rest of my synths are working just fine with this setup. However, the Matriarch, firstly won't sync with my daw's tempo at all and I can't record midi notes into a track as I can with my other synths. I have solved the sync issue by using a Beatstep Pro as my hub for the Matriarch, Mother 32, DFAM and Subharmonicon. But, I'd love to be able to actually record notes into Cubase.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
