Hi, all. I’ve been working my way through figuring out how to make step advance work with a trigger sending into the clock in on the GM.
I've got it working well with a trigger from my RD8 (I still haven’t got it working with a trigger from the TR09).
I’m also sending MIDI out of the GM into my Juno 106. It works fine, and I’m able to arpeggiate the 106 from the GM, or sequence the 106 from the GM.
BUT - when I step advance a sequence or arp on the GM, the MIDI triggering of the 106 stops working. At best, I get an odd note here or there triggered on the 106, seemingly at random.
Anyone here encounter this issue or have any tips on how I might troubleshoot this? Is the GM able to transmit MIDI out when it is being step advanced?
