Matriarch panning oscillators?

Post by StereoContact » Wed May 06, 2020 2:37 pm

Is it possible to pan the oscillators left and right on the Matriarch? I'm going for sort of a round robin effect where each oscillators would be set identical but 2 would be panned left and 2 would be panned right or maybe 1 left 1 right and 2 center. Anyway the effect would be so that with each step in the sequencer or arpeggiator would be shifted left and right. Is this possible on the matriarch? I'm going for a similar sound as the song Detroit from the movie It follows soundtrack. Now that I think about it even if this is possible it probably wouldn't achieve the sound of the song. Does anyone know how I can get a similar panning effect from this song with the Matriarch?

Yes!

To do this:

- set the filter to stereo LP/LP
- patch the wave out of OSC 1&2 to VCF input 1
- turn down the mixer volume for OSC 1&2

This will place OSC 1&2 in the left speaker and 3&4 in the right.
