Midi-Synced Delay

Post by Woland » Wed Feb 19, 2020 12:59 pm

Hi all!

I've got a feeling I've read about this issue before, but I can't find anything about it now. Basically, whenever I try to sync the delay to midi (well, to the sequencer, which receives clock from my DAW), the delay just goes crazy and sounds like the soundtrack to a hammer horror film! Has anyone else experienced this? I've haven't got round to updating the firmware yet, does this fix the problem? Or is there an issue with my unit?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Phil

I should add that I'm talking about the Matriarch (seems I forgot to mention that!).

Matriarch doesn't like simultaneously receiving MIDI clock and analog clock. But if that's not your issue then have you tried filtering your MIDI input to clock only as an experiment? Also, just to state the obvious, have you swept your Matriarch rate knob all the way back?
