Need to fix the MIDI DIN issues -- want to be able to send MIDI through DIN without having to turn local control off. Anyway I tried following the firmware update instructions (tried restarting, different USB cables, etc. etc. I even tried sending it through DIN) and when I send the first (Grandmother_FIRMWARE_INVALIDATE.syx) file, the ARP rate LED doesn't blink red/green. Instead, it quickly blinks orange along with a blink from the SYNC button and the unit resets. I can't proceed with the next update steps.
If it helps this is a very early Grandmother unit (purchased at Moogfest).
