Mother 32 will not enter setup mode.

Mother 32 will not enter setup mode.
Just got a DFAM to pair with my mother 32 and I was going to sync the two together. When I try to enter setup mode with shift + reset + set end + 8, the lights do not change to yellow and it doesn't enter that menu. Any idea if I have to be in a different mode to enter the setup mode? Thanks.
