Hello everyone. I have a DFAM and just ordered a Mother-32.
Can you sync outputs on both so you only need 1 headphone?
I do not have any mixer or multi-input preamp.
Thank you.

Although you can split a single headphone out into two headphone outs with a splitter cable, it's a little more complicated to mix two headphone signals properly.
Here is a low-cost solution that requires no power supply yet sounds very good.
(I use it live on stage with two synths and a theremin.)

You can use a 1/4" TRS -to- 1/4" TRS cable to go from each of the synth's headphone outs into an input of the mixer. You can plug headphones directly into the Output jack of the mixer. Live, you can use a 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TS Left and 1/4" TS Right cable (also known as an Insert Cable) to get from your mixer to the house mixer.
Hope this helps,

You can take the VCA out of one and patch it to the EXT. Audio in of the other. The sound from both will come out of the headphone jack.
If you patch the 32 into the DFAM, then the 32 will replace the noise on the mixer. So you'll give up noise, but you can control the level of the mother with the mixer on the DFAM.
I don't have a Mother, so I'm not sure what happens if you hook them up the other way around.

Thank you! Confirming both splitter and VCA to EXT works. I think it depends on how much control i'll end up needing.
RIght now VCA to EXT works because, less clutter.
