I searched...no luck. Hoping someone can make a suggestion.
I have been using a compact Yamaha MG06 mixer for my mother 32 with other accoutrements to play through headphones with no issues.
Plug in the DFAM and I automatically hit peak on the mixer. Gain and level at zero. I've switched inputs and cables. Same result.
I'm forced to use the attenuator pad. I can still peak the mixer with gain and levels low - less than 1/3. I'm forced to turn the volume waaaaaay down on the DFAM. 1/4.
To keep it from peaking I have to turn everything down and sacrifice sound quality. Missing the punch the DFAM produces.
Thoughts? Am I overlooking anything? I'm am new to analog syths BTW. Coming from guitar.
Maybe I'm just harder of hearing than I think.
Thanks

Re: DFAM & Yamaha mixer peaking
Hi, I have a Mother 32, and after a few months the output of it became unusably high. Ended up being the combined headphone/line out jack PCB- it stopped discerning whether i had headphones or a line out hooked up. A simple email to moog had them ship me a new part, and a super easy swap out. No probs since. This may be your problem.
