There are some modules that only use the +12 V. So in theory it would be possible to use the m32 psu, use a caBle Splitter and connect it to a flying Busboard and power other modules in a rack like make noise Rene, Tempi, etc.
Has anybody tried it?
Would there be problems with the inrush current, could the other modules be destroyed?
I started a collection on Modular grid:

Powering other modules with the m32 psu?
Re: Powering other modules with the m32 psu?
Totally interested in this! trying to use an empty 60hp moog case with just rene, brains and pp. But alas using a uzeus power eats up the crucial HP!
Re: Powering other modules with the m32 psu?
I already asked Moog but the answer was what I expected: they don't know if the other manufacturers modules will work that way and no warranty for nothing.
I have a Rene that is powewd by a simple and cheap 12v psu in a dedicated case. So basically it should work.
