Hi everyone,

Quite new to the modular synth structure.
To be able to Use the 3 moog mother 32 i was thinking of using a mixer at first but with after thought maybe using a module mixer in the eurorack format.
But which one to get in this eurorack jungle ?
And if i wanted a normal mixer which one would you recommend?

I use a simple Mackie 402 VLZ4 4-channel mixer with my modular (which includes 3 Mother 32s and lots of other stuff). I feed the stereo output from that into my main mixer, or directly into my audio interface.

The Mackie VLZ can handle any 'hot' modular outputs with no problems at all.

Dedicated Eurorack mixers are a huge waste of money and panel space IMO.

Mackie, Behringer, Yamaha, Soundcraft, Allen & Heath etc. all make far superior compact mixers to anything you can buy in Eurorack format and they make them much, much cheaper. Save your money for more modules and buy a 4 or 8 channel compact mixer from any of the big names. If you get one with effects send and return paths then that's even better.

Some people argue that a Eurorack mixer is an 'all in one solution' (i.e. it's not an external box) but surely you're going to have to plug your modular into some kind of external box in order to perform or record with it.

The MG10 is a very good and flexible mixer, and should do everything you need.

Yamaha really know how make mixers, and their mixers will vastly outperform anything you can buy in Eurorack format at half the price.
