LFO Rate Sync
I hope this isn't a silly question, as I'm somewhat of a synth newbie, but does the LFO Rate on the Mother 32 sync to the tempo of the sequencer? I can't find that info anywhere in the manual.

What a bummer. Are you aware of any Moogs that will sync the LFO rate to an external MIDI source?

Voyager XL
Sub 37
Sub Phatty
Little Phatty
Slim Phatty
Minitaur
Taurus
And I'm aware of these Moog effects:
MF-104M
MF-104MSD
MF-108M
And I'm aware of this Moog controller:
MP-201
But, other than these, I can't think of a single Moog that will sync the LFO rate to an external MIDI source.

Although you can use the Assign output with a sequencer-synced, stepped LFO. (decimated ramp, etc.)
Assign is not going to give you smooth output, tempo divisions or multiples, or any signal at all unless the sequencer is running.

Hey, old post but I just published a video where I cover in detail the issue of syncing the LFO with an external clock source on the Moog Grandmother.
Have a look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GM15i7BwbI
Bottom line: imho using a CV sequencer is the best way to go.
