New Mother-32 Day! Yay! came in yesterday, spent some time with it, got some amazing stuff. I left the recorder on, so when I go through it this weekend I'll post a few things on Soundcloud. Wow, what a musical little box...I'm kinda blown away.

Very nice, it is a clever little box. Great sequencer, nonstop fun.

What's your serial range? Above 600, below 1000? (Trying to figure out how many they're cooking up.)

And here's the first noodle: https://soundcloud.com/mmarsh/mother-32-1

Serial number in the very high 600's...

Great session - I like how the self-oscillation in the first half almost seems to be playing a different sequence in counterpoint. "Single Oscillator" isn't quite the pejorative it used to be, eh?

Exactly! It's a 'simple' machine with outstanding capabilities that provide surprisingly complex results. The patchbay allows these kinds of tricks that make it sound like a bigger machine than it actually is. Here's an example with two tracks of Mother-32: https://soundcloud.com/mmarsh/mother-32-2
