Moog Model 10 voltage select question

Post by 901tastic » Sun Feb 21, 2021 4:28 pm

I'm new to this forum and would like some help regarding the Moog Model 10 reissue voltage select for different countries.

I've just bought a second hand (but like new) 2019 Moog Model 10 reissue from USA which I'm waiting to receive. I live in the UK.

Is the Moog Model 10 switchable voltage? Looking at photos of the rear panel it certainly seems so? I can see two voltages on there: 115V and 230V, with what looks like a switch to change from the current 115V to 230V for the UK.

However, on the Moog website, it says "1x 130 Watt 120 VAC Power Supply (230 VAC available upon request)"?

If it is switchable, is it simply a case of flicking the switch from '115V' to '230V' or does the fuse need changing also to a different rating?

My reissue System 15 has switchable mains voltage so I would assume the Model 10 should also.
Would make sense..?

I've got my Model 10 now. You are right, it does have switchable voltage as I thought, so you just flick the switch with a small flat-blade screwdriver from 115V to 230V.

I asked a Moog employee about the fuse and he said it's the same fuse rating for both voltages.
