I’ve just received my Moog Model 15 (had to visit the Crossroads and sell my soul for it )
I’ll talk about it in another post when I’ve spent more time with it, but I thought It would be useful just to add to the topic about the included manual.
It’s a lovely cloth-bound hardcover book of 190 pages called ‘The Moog Modular Synthesizer Owner’s Manual’.
It is an unabridged copy of the 1981 manual by Dan Wyman. It still carries the 1981 Copyright to Moog Music, Inc.

Re: The 'new' Moog Modular Synthesizer Owner’s Manual
Yep. I guess it's all part of the 'exclusivity' of the 15, 35 and 55 Reissues.EricK wrote:They manual they refuse to sell to the general public.
In one sense I can see where Moog is coming from, but on the other hand I think there
would be many buyers for it even at a premium price.
And after all, it would be promoting the Moog ethos to those with a keen historical interest in all things Moog...

So exclusive they won't even sell an extra copy to modular owners for archival purposes.
If they have a product that people want to buy, why not sell them?
