Using headphones with Werkstatt-01

I'm just getting into synths and music as a whole, for experimentation, learning, and fun. I have a Werkstatt being delivered tomorrow and I was wondering how I could use it with my headphones. Would this do the trick? http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-MA400-B ... 000KUCQXY/
I want to be able to experiment and have fun without being at my computer all the time. Just kinda have the Werkstatt setup with something I can go over and plug my headphones into and play around.

i would buy this adapter instead and plug headphones directly into the Werkstatt-01.

The mixer is unneeded. The Werkstatt-01 has line output on 1/4" TS jack, which will power most headphones, but only 1 side. The mono-to-stereo adapter will allow sound on both sides of headphones.

Just tried plugging the headphones in with an adapter I borrowed from a friend. I could hear the synth, but the volume is pretty low. If I wanted to amplify the signal to the headphones would I have to buy what I posted, or is there a better alternative?

i would not buy the mixer linked, i think it's too basic to be usable, and appears to be designed to convert an existing signal from another mixer into headphone level

you need a basic analog live sound mixer, with extra channels and features to grow your hardware setup if you plan on adding other equipment: reverb, additional synths, microphones, sampler, drum machine, Mother32...
