Touch points and jumpers

Post by Moddyg » Sun Aug 31, 2014 8:13 pm

Anyone know which touch points and jumpers to use for different purposes, e.g., putting a distortion circuit in between VCO and VCF? I read that at Moogfest there was a website that told people which touch points and jumpers to use for different kinds of mods. This schematic and PCB of the Werkstatt are a little outside my comfort zone so any help would be appreciated.

Cheers ...

The JMP57 is between the VCO and VCF. This wouldn't be a good place for distortion though. It would only work for the Saw and all it will do is make a square wave out of it. The best place for that would be JMP58. There you would distort the audio after the filter but before the VCA. You should look for these 2 points on the schematics and study whats around them. The great thing about the schem is all of the connection points (like VCO OUT just before JMP57) are clickable and will take you to where that connection is. It's a great way to get your feet wet.

Thank you! Harder to get a response than I would have thought.
