MF103 DIY

Post by Herr Mosa » Sat Sep 05, 2020 9:19 am

I was able to get hold of one of the last MF103 Phaser two years ago. However, it had sporty dropouts accompanied by a loud humming. Today I finally removed the circuit board:

Unfortunately the ground connection to the 2nd row of sockets was not soldered on the board side. This was probably a careless mistake which can happen in the handicraft production of these little darlings. This one pin was quickly soldered.

Because of my farsightedness these are really lucky circumstances, because he saves me the repair shipment or - God forbid - even soldering on SMD components ;)
