MF Drive cutting off all high frequencies

Post by bogdanoctav » Mon Sep 09, 2019 7:33 am

Hello there!

I just bought a used MF Drive Pedal intended to be used with different gear, among them a drummachine.
Now i noticed, while the sound is really full and rich, the moment I engage the pedal all high frequencies (hihats, cymbals) disappear completely, even with the filter turned up all the way to the right, peak disengaged.
Is that the standard behavior?
Or is my pedal faulty?
If it is a faulty behavior, is there eny way to fix that on my own?
Thanks for an answer!

That definitely doesn't sound normal unless the knob settings are intentionally set that way. It seems like the filter cutoff is really low. Does moving the tone and filter controls fully clockwise do anything? Also, turn off the peak switch.
