Soliciting feedback about Minifooger Trem CV tempo ...

Post by allochthon » Sun Aug 05, 2018 3:14 am

I'm just about to spring for a Trem based solely on its capability to accept CV-in for tempo - specifically, from a Molten Voltage CV Sync that is receiving MIDI clock. I sync all my time-based effects to MIDI, and have had a hell of a time with tremolo - currently using a BOSS Slicer, and it was passable until all the presets got all FUBAR.

I'm seeking feedback from anyone who uses the Trem in this way, and what their experience is. Ultimately I want a signal that is 100% modulated to be in sync with a delay at the same tempo.

Any input is appreciated.

I had one but did not get to use it much.
However I think it's not syncable as you would like: the CV input does not take pulses but a continuous voltage. You would need to "translate" the MIDI BPM value into that knid of signal, but I'm qite sure there is not standard as each and every CV input capable tremolo (or other LFO based) pedal has it's own range of tempo/rate value.

Anyone, proove me wrong :)

Can anyone verify what type of CV input the Trem receives?
