MF Delay only usable with battery

Post by FrostByte » Sat Oct 24, 2015 5:30 pm

Hey all,
I just purchased a first generation MF delay new in the box. I ordered a moog power supply for it from Sweetwater. When I plug it in (battery in or out) I get nothing, no light, no delay. The power supply does work on another 9V device I have so the supply is good. Is there a difference in the power supplies between the original delays and the new ones? Have there been any problems with the 9V input on the circuit board?
:? Thanks, Frost

I don't think the minifoogers come on unless there is a 1/4" cable plugged into the jacks (no on/off switch to save cost)
try connecting it with cables & see if the lights come on then

Hi Paramnesia, Thanks for the reply. I should have specified that I had it all plugged in as well. I received a reply to my support query from Andy at Moog. He thinks it could be a diode failure, so I'm sending it in for replacement/repair.
