Hi everyone,
I was admiring the innards of my Minifooger Trem yesterday and noticed two trim pots above the footswitch. Anyone have an idea of what those pots adjust? Volume and/or depth or speed, maybe? Any feedback appreciated.
Trim Pots in MiniFooger Trem: What purpose?
Re: Trim Pots in MiniFooger Trem: What purpose?
I too was curious as to the function of the internal trim pots, so I sent Moog an email asking.
Andy quickly replied and this is what he answered.
The first sets the rate of the internal carrier oscillator. The second is used for nulling(cancelling) the sound of the carrier oscillator from the audio path so that you don't hear it droning.
Hope this helps other MF Trem users.
I haven't adjusted the internal trim pots as I think the Trem sounds fantastic as is and I don't want to mess with it.
