HELP! Animoog recordings sound different on iPad Pro 11

I recently purchased a new iPad Pro 11” (latest), upgrading from iPad Pro 9.7. When I play back my 4-Track recordings on the new iPad they sound vastly different. The pitches are way off and the frequencies are different. It’s way off.
Has anyone else run into this?
