Animoog as a midi controler and X/Y pad

Hi.
Yesterday I tried to control my subphatty with animoog and already had good results. I am not sure what does pressure control (filter frequency I guess) but it does make good effects and adds "expressiveness" to my playabilty.
However, in a video, I'm pretty sure I saw Amos control parameters with the X/Y pad wich should be even more cool. I have no idea how he did that in the animoog app.
the keys, pressure, ben and mod work fin so I'm guessing I do have midi coming from the app to the subphatty. The question is "how to assign X/Y to midi CC out?"
