Also noteworthy:

iTunes File Sharing on Windows has problems if you have the MINIMOOG Dom Kane presets installed.

The "MM-DK BA Fat*ss" is an invalid filename under windows and you cannot backup your presets. To fix it up.

1) rename the preset (pressing and holding to save under a different name (without the *)
2) Under Setup Presets with the "MM-DK BA Fat*ss" selected as your active preset press delete to remove the original preset.

You can now "Save to-" all your presets under iTunes filesharing.

To restore your presets and timbres you need to add additional presets to the "presets" folder and timbres to the "categories" folder. Once set up properly drag and drop into the iTunes Animoog File Sharing window and confirm the replace files.

When you upgrade your iOS to iOS 8.3, you gain warning about backing up and restoring? I think you can have a try with iPhone Transfer when you need to backup some iPhone data and restore them. Or you can use iTunes to backup or sync your iPhone data and then, restore from your backup files.
