Any future for production on IOS8?

This upgrade to IOS8 seems to be even worse than the update to IOS7 for disrupting the workflow of producers using iOS. The responsibility for ensuring that a change of operating system does not cause disruption rests with the developer, in this case Apple. Many smaller app developers cannot make modifications quickly enough to keep up with the planned obsolescence of Apple operating systems. I have now decided to trash my iPads and iPhones and return to producing music using the DAWS on my Macbook. (This is now running Windows 7; still well supported and compatible with more creative third party production software than any other platform!)
