Animoog Timbres Grid

Post by V01t » Tue Oct 18, 2011 8:04 pm

It took a while, but I think I figured out the X/Y grid. You have over 50 different timbres to choose from and you assign a timbre to 8 different horizontal zones. The zones crossfade in the up/down direction depending where you cursor is.

The parameters of the timbre are tweeked by swiping left to right. Here the SupaPhasor timbre is having it's Phasor frequency changed.

Use the TIMBRES tab and touch the zone you want to change, then choose a timbre from the list...

I hope this helps, here's some more information http://www.bobborries.com/Tutorials/Ani ... orial.html

Thanks.
Nice site.
Welcome to the forum.

Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.

'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

That makes sense. I think my problem was seeing timbres as samples, but they're more than that.
