I'll have the T3 and Barbetta there. You're not far from Indiana. There's a bloke from IL who goes every year.

It reminds me very much of the Phil Jones...I do like that one super cabinet that was posted a while back that goes down to 20 Hz...and costs as much as a Vo guitar...but yeah...like I said, I'm crazy.

This is my cabinet, waiting for the T3

It's 28Hz capable per the specs and seems to handle lows quite well on some of my other gear. Small, light, and affordable too. I'll let you know if it's up to the task.

28Hz? That's the best I've seen out of a professional speaker. I'm sure that will at least get down to 25Hz minus 3-5 dB. Mine will go down to 15Hz -6 dB...but sadly, the amp lacks power at a mere 60 Watts. Of course, it works for a small bedroom...danox574 wrote:This is my cabinet, waiting for the T3

Even at 60 watts, that 15Hz signal is so low, it can't be heard...by human ears. Dogs hear it...and the neighbors hate the barking dogs more than the bass. Which isn't to say they won't be ecstatic when I move out. My bedroom is 10x12...it barely contains the audible frequencies, let alone the super-low harmonics.dr_floyd wrote:One cycle of a 15Hz audio wave is over 75 feet long.
Just how big is that bedroom????
Hopefully your neighbors enjoy bass.

Yeah, I'm just amused by the idea that up close the bass harmonics from a 15Hz capable speaker might sound thick and great, but at 75 feet the fundamental will be giving someone else a completely different bass experience!True, but one doesn't need a 75' long room to 'hear' this frequency.
Sort of like when people drive around with subwoofers in their car trunks (does anyone do that anymore?) - in the car it's bass heavy, but 30 feet away it's a bass assault.

Live with Kim Mitchell
The last time we provided for Kim Mitchell we set Peter up with two Ampeg SVT Classics, each driving an Ampeg 8x10 cabinet. Bass guitar and Taurus pedals play through the same rig.
Just got the T3; gonna try it with a variety of amps in the shop this week.
