taurus registration?

Post by hieronymous » Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:30 pm

So, the insert in the manual that came with the Taurus III says to go to moog.com and register there. But the Taurus isn't listed in the drop-down menu. Are we considered registered when we register at the taurusbass.com site, or do we still need to register at moog.com too?

Given that we each have our own unique registration code for the microsite, I believe our T-3s are officially registered once we are signed up - a quick call to Moog should confirm this.

Good point! I guess I'm being a bit too literal with the instructions included, which were probably written before the Taurus website/system was established. Thanks!

Well, the T3 has appeared in the pop-down menu in the registration section of the Moog website (not the dedicated Taurus 3 site) - I figured I would register mine, but couldn't get any permutation of the serial # to work - it kept telling me to make sure my serial number was correct. Tried just the last 4 digits, tried T3-XXXX, tried T3XXXX, nothing worked...

I had no problems to register mine on moogmusic.com

3 digits is the magical key! mine is 490

i've had the same problems as patobrujo. i figure they know which number they sent to me as this was a limited run. there shouldn't be any arguments if i send it in for fixing - should there? :|

I have 488 and it won't register either. Same with my etherwave.
So this thing only plays one note?
