I didn't think they useed PK5's, but the post above said Roland so I thought what the heck :D I think they might be old Korg models? I'm pretty sure all the sampling info was from Guitar Player, around the Snakes and Arrows time.
So this thing only plays one note?

Washers now replaced with dual chicken broilers, and Geddy is playing a Moog Little Phatty for most of his keyboard leads. Makes a world of difference on songs like "Tom Sawyer" - I could tell instantly it was a real Moog last time I saw them in concert.

Nice, it'd be cool to see them live. Probably not gonna happen here anytime soon, but at least the analog is getting through!

Number 0218 is home.

I can't imagine the Taurus sounds translating well to being sampled. You'd have to have some really high end D/A converters to hope to capture what I hear in my studio when I hit the low C on my T3's. I don't think the Fantom XR could do them justice (if that's what they're using to play the samples).

I saw the last part of this Rush at Montreaux (probably from the same tour where they appeared on Stephen Colbert) and Geddy was using a ROland Fantom x7, Little Phatty S1 (curiously with no Moog logo on the extrusion) and a set of Bass pedals that I couldn't identify. Liefson also had some bass pedals that I didn't see and he was the one who hit that in Tom Sawyer and they sounded close to the Taurus, but I never got to see a shot of any of his floor equipment.

Yeah Rush isn't even using any vintage gear now. I read that they sampled all of their synth sounds...
Rush is 'vintage'. They're too old to sit around and tweak sounds all day. Might even be play-synching to much of the sound one hears at their performances.

If Geddy Lee had to get down on his knees to tweak the New T3, he probably wouldn't get back up for awhile.....not because the T3 would occupy him but his knees, man, his knees!
