Road Case

Post by superd2112 » Wed Feb 10, 2010 1:40 am

Man, the Taurus road case looks beefy! (no pun intended) I wonder if those of us who ordered it will also recieve the regular cardboard box that the T-3s normally come in? If our T-3s come shipped in the road case, I doubt the cardboard box would be shipped separately, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. Also, Moog originally stated that the pedals could be played in the base of the case without removing them - I wonder if that is still possible, as the case's base appears a bit too deep to allow the pedals to be depressed without the lip of the base interfering. Not an issue either way for me, as I appreciate the extra protection a well-constructed case like this offers. Good job, Moog!

10-4. Will try & keep the drool off off of the camera lens. Sparks and MC will most likely get theirs first, if the snow ever breaks. Mine are supposed to ship out today or tomorrow.

Luckily, snow doesn't stop the earth's rotation where you live! You might get yours first...

I wish that were true - I live in Denver, and the snow here has been known to stop the earth's rotation for weeks at a time! I think if my Taurus can just make it a couple of hundred miles west of the factory, I'll be in good shape. No snow here right now, just brutal waves of cold...

Just looked at the pics. To be honest i thought it was going to be some moulded ATA with the Moog logo on it. Now that i see it i am glad i didn't get it as i think i can get something cheaper in the UK, it's just a standard flightcase.

I believe there should be some sort of mould on the inside of the cover to keep the T3 from moving around. Otherwise it would just rattle all over the case.

Now THAT'S a road case (it's under "Related Products", not accessories)

I own many Anvil cases and the T3 case is definitely worth the bucks. I'm glad I ordered one.

That's the kind of case the Voyager used to have. I was fortunate to get one, and they are built really well. Those cases are worth every penny.

I'm glad they didn't emblazen the case with the "Moog" logo.

That's what turned me off about the Voyager road case. Having MOOG on it is like reading STEAL ME

You can always put a moog sticker on it...
