did anyone else see this??? [more pics!]
Man that thing looks wicked! Sleek lines, looks like it might have been inspired by a guitar, like a flying V sort of thing.
Im hurting to see theres no Audio input. With this special filter its a real shame that we can't run other stuff through it.
But the profile of this thing looks like its flying across the floor!
I could have done without the Phatty buttons, but a knob per function deal would haev jacked up the price.
Overall Im pretty stoked about adding this to my rig. This looks like a synth thats prepared to battle to the death any other pedal on the floor!

While I like a panel full of knobs, this is a fair compromise. There aren't a lot of parameters on the Taurus sound engine so a one-knob interface isn't a burden. My Moog Source isn't much more than a Taurus and the one-knob interface is fine on that machine.

MC,
Yeah thats a good point about the knobs. But I was really looking forward to having that specially overdriven Filter to run all sorts of goodness through.
Hey you know, Ive been really studying these pictures. Ill bet the Beat and Beat Freq knobs are like a Fine and Coarse Osc Freq Knobs, with maybe only a little adjustment on the Beat Freq knob, to get that phasing Osc sound, and the Beat to detune to intervals.
I have also been thinking that what we are looking at is a prototype because there are no serial number stickers or those stickers that warn of electric shock if opened. Imagine ours to look slightly different, though theres not a total rear shot available yet.

It looks great ! However, despite of this

it seems that no Audio input is there, so I'm a little disappointed, but there will probably be a way to add it, or so ?

All Moog AC-powered products have auto-sensing power supplies which will work fro 90VAC to 240VAC.Mr Arkadin wrote:i'm slightly worried that there's no mains 240/110 switch. The nice thing about the original Taurus was that it worked at both. i really hate the idea of using a power transformer for this, another thing to carry round.
