Sometimes when Im drooling over the Moogerfoogers that I don't have wondering how they would look in my system configuration, I then remember that I owe Moog 1100 bucks for the Taurus and then Im like "There is a new moog coming afterall."
Im trying to figure out just how fat these things are going to be. THe Voyager will really kick out some super subsonic bass and Im wondering how the Taurus pedals can really blow that out of the water.
Wel shall see though. It will make for a great comparison video.

I, too, am wondering if it will blow my Little Phatty out of the water. The Taurus patches on it sound very similar to sound samples I've heard out of the Taurus. Not only that, but the LAMBSBREAD patch on the LP blows any other bass sound I've EVER heard out of the water. I guess we shall see. This is what I was going on about on YouTube when I was denouncing the Taurus on the Big City Music vids.

No...I judge by the quality of LP patches, vs actual Taurus sounds. As played by my cousin.Mr Arkadin wrote:You judge audio quality by YouTube clips?Voltor07 wrote:This is what I was going on about on YouTube when I was denouncing the Taurus on the Big City Music vids.

I have demo'd LAMBSBREAD. On YouTube, with overdrive, even. Without overdrive in my earlier vids.EricK wrote:Why don't you demo that patch.

Garrr! This waiting stuff is for the birds. I hope Moog gives us a sneak peek of our T-3s at the Summer NAMM show. Meanwhile, I'm doing my part to stimulate the economy - just purchased a Rickenbacker 4004Cii bass, and I can't wait to hear it and the Taurus together. Next will be a Little Phatty stage II to replace the Voyager EB I sold last year. The Voyager never did have enough of the grit & punch I was looking for. I used to own a Prodigy (great mono synth), and after playing the Phatty recently, I heard a lot of the heavier, dirtier sounds in there that the Prodigy used to produce. Then (after sufficent time for the bank account to recover), it might be time to hunt down a nice used Andromeda or Prophet 08.
I'll drink to that!superd2112 wrote:Garrr! This waiting stuff is for the birds. I hope Moog gives us a sneak peek of our T-3s at the Summer NAMM show.
