Yeah, I got that. I've learned to subtract and add letters as needed when reading posts here. Between EricK and those who don't know English as their first language, it's a useful skill. Anyway, that's what the EDIT button is for.

I vote for numbers on the pedal keys so I can use them with my "chopsticks by numbers" book

I'd LOVE glow-in-the-dark "keys". For a while I've actually wanted to have someone fabricate new wooden caps for the keys on my T1 pedals. I would have them made raw and unfinished. Just bare wood. Then I'd paint them with glow-in-the-dark paint, then give them a lacquer coating with something really durable like marine epoxy (hey, if it's tough enough for Jaco to finish the fingerboard of his bass with...). And there you have it...pedal caps that you can see on the darkest of stages. I'd like to do the same thing with the caps on my PK-5 pedals.

Actually I was planning on doing a color scheme to match my LP if the Taurus has lights. I could always add lights if there are no lights, provided there's 5V available on the board. Are you a mind reader, or something, Joe?

If you mod a 1000 unit only Taurus you have to have your brain modded lol.

Yeah see Id really rather it be all original looking or look like the Foogers rather than the Phatty.

But thats just my opinion.

I can't disagree with this statement. However, if it has lights, chances are it will be modded.

Taurus feature set

Post by miamigroove » Tue Jul 21, 2009 11:09 am

I know its late in the game, these things are almost fully developed BUT.... I know they would not be a "faithful to the original" design choice, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!! give these some MIDI channel switching buttons or the like...I REALLY want to obsolete my Roland PK-5's when these come out and the only way that would happen is if im able to switch between multiple MIDI channels quickly and easily with my feet...thanks :)

i think many people use some sort of midi foot controller (like PK 5A),and when the Taurus 3 gets out you shoul be able to get rid of your old midi foot controller. In this case i really hope the Taurus can send program change messages in different midi channels at once (so you can control all your gear), i was thinking something like the MP-201.

In the analog part of it i really like to see lots of cv ins and outs and a wide range of octaves (up and down)
