Win 10, Minitaur Editor in DAW has wrong size/resolution

Post by Mortis » Sun Apr 16, 2023 6:06 pm

Dear folks,

when opening the Minitaur Editor (latest) as a VST instrument in my DAWs, both Bitwig (latest) and Presonus Studio One (latest), the GUI is shown too little/shrunk. And the reading of the mouse position is accordingly not working correctly. To turn the button on the bottom right with the mouse I have to move the mouse to the corner in the bottom right of the black window.
So if the resolution of the GUI would be scaled bigger to fit the black parts of the instrument window, the mouse position would fit the mouse reading again. Hope that makes it clear?

My Windows scaling is put to 150%. Maybe that is a reason? But I do not wanna change the whole Windows scaling only because of this editor.

I cannot really see what I click/drag. I cannot use the editor like this. :|
Why?

Best wishes,

Morris

BTW: My workaround now is to use the standalone editor (that is working well) parallel to my DAW.

Now I cannot automate things in the editor directly in my DAW, but at least everything works properly and without any issues.
