Best way to gain ext. Filter in Minitaur?

Post by m_sternum » Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:19 pm

Hi there, When using the Minitaur's external input (with no synths on) I'm finding theres a noticeable humming noise, but depending on the levels I send things into the Minitaur and the levels on the way out I find it isn't a problem. Just wondering if someone could give me advice on the best way to set my levels out of my DAW (ableton) to the minitaur and then back in again to have the lowest possible amount of noise? Using an Apogee Duet 2 as the interface too

Thank you

Just send the loudest signal you can without distorting from Ableton to the Minitaur.
