The behavior below happens every time is use the Sirin editor (although I now skip steps 3,4 and 6):
1. Open Sirin standalone editor
2. Close editor
3. Note that editor is still open in Windows Task Manger
4. Try to open editor again, nothing happens
5. Kill editor task in Windows Task Manger
6. Try to open editor again, nothing happens
7. Power cycle Sirin
8. Editor now opens
The behavior using the VST editor in Ableton Live is about the same except it is the Live process that hangs in task manager instead of the standalone editor. In any case, I can produce the issue with the standalone editor, independent of opening Live at all.
Any ideas why the editor process is hanging?
